Full Role & Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate care for a toddler
• Engage the child in active, educational play that supports developmental milestones
• Support gentle parenting principles with consistent routines and boundaries
• Prepare meals and snacks for the child
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the child’s room and play areas
• Manage the child’s laundry and daily organisation
• Drive to and from preschool, activities, and outings
• Provide occasional care for the family dog, including walks
• Work collaboratively with parents and household staff in a team-oriented environment
• Travel with the family between Rancho Santa Fe and Lake Tahoe, providing consistent care during extended stays
• Be comfortable relocating seasonally and staying for the full duration of travel periods, with accommodation provided
• Work a flexible schedule ranging from 4–12 hours per day, with the family open to guaranteeing 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday), and flexibility to work 1–2 Saturdays per month
• Adapt to a dynamic but well-planned schedule, communicated well in advance
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Minimum 5+ years’ professional nanny experience
• College degree required
• Strong background in child development
• Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Warm, professional, and emotionally intelligent
• Excellent communication skills and ability to read household dynamics
• Comfortable working in high-profile households
• CPR / First Aid certified
• TrustLine certified
• Clean driving record and reliable vehicle
• Passport ready

Package & Benefits
• Salary: $140,000–$150,000 gross per annum
