Full Role & Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality, attentive care for one bright and active toddler (2.5 years old), ensuring safety, emotional security, and well-being
• Support early learning, development, and independence through play-based, age-appropriate activities
• Plan and deliver engaging daily routines including creative projects, outdoor play, cultural outings, and early learning experiences
• Maintain consistent routines for meals, naps, playtime, and bedtime in collaboration with the parents
• Work in close partnership with a very hands-on mother and a long-term resident nanny within a shared-care structure
• Offer confident sole charge when required, including during periods of international travel
• Organise and manage the child’s wardrobe, toys, books, and equipment, maintaining a clean and orderly environment
• Support gentle discipline and clear boundaries aligned with the family’s parenting approach
• Accompany the family on international travel, ensuring continuity of care in new environments
• Communicate clearly, discreetly, and professionally with parents and household staff
• Maintain the highest standards of discretion and respect for the family’s privacy
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Experienced professional nanny with strong early-years experience in private households
• Formal childcare or early-years training (Montessori or similar preferred)
• Calm, warm, and emotionally attuned, with a nurturing and reassuring presence
• Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Confident working in both shared-care and sole-charge settings
• Flexible and travel-ready, comfortable with changing schedules
• Holds an EU passport and is able to travel internationally
• First Aid and CPR certified
• Confident swimmer and comfortable around pools and the sea (preferred)
• Able to prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for the child
Package & Benefits
• Salary: €1,200–€1,800 per week gross (dependent on experience and qualifications)
• Permanent, full-time position
• Live-in role with private bedroom and bathroom provided
• Five-day working week
• Long-term opportunity with a warm, well-known family based primarily in Monaco
