Full Role & Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate care for three young children
• Support daily routines including mornings, school preparation, and bedtime
• Plan and engage the children in educational, creative, and age-appropriate activities
• Encourage curiosity, confidence, and positive behaviour through play and exploration
• Assist with school drop-offs, pick-ups, and extracurricular activities
• Prepare children’s meals and snacks
• Tidy and organise children’s play areas and manage their laundry
• Support household organisation, errands, and stocking essential supplies
• Work collaboratively with parents and household staff as a proactive team player
• Provide occasional care for the family’s small dog, including walks
• Travel with the family for 3–4 weeks per year as required
• Work a 1 week on / 1 week off rotation, with working hours typically 6:30am–8:30pm, flexibility for late evenings, date nights, and events
• Be comfortable with overnights during on-shift weeks, living in a private nanny suite
• Drive safely and reliably using a nanny vehicle provided or personal vehicle
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Minimum 5+ years’ professional nanny experience
• At least 1 year of prior ROTA experience
• Experience working in high-profile or fully staffed households
• Highly organised, proactive, and emotionally intelligent
• Warm, engaging, and professional approach
• Excellent communication skills and ability to read household dynamics
• Excellent swimmer and confident supporting active children
• CPR / First Aid certified
• Passport ready
• Excellent references
• Local to California

• Salary: $140,000–$150,000 gross per annum
